In June, the staff paid a visit to the Division of Wild Life Research Center. We saw bighorn sheep, elk and mule deer with their fawns. The resident bobcat was somewhat elusive but the highlight of the visit was seeing the three mountain lion interact with their handler. Research is being done to determine if the mountain lions contract chronic wasting disease from contaminated meat. So far this has not been the case.  Our heartfelt thanks go to Lisa and Mike in making the visit possible and for their dedicated work and research with all the wildlife in the area.
