Dr. David Loken, DPT, OCS, CFDN
Dave earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota in 2018 and has an undergraduate degree in music from the University of Illinois from 2005.
He is Level 1 and Level 2 certified Functional Dry Needler through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Dave gets excellent results with his expertise in Functional Dry Needling, especially in the treatment of TMJ dysfunction causing, jaw pain and clicking with yawning, eating and at night. Dave obtained his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification in July.
Prior to graduate school, he freelanced, taught music in public school, and managed a running store in Minneapolis. Dave has worked in outpatient orthopedics since 2018. He enjoys treating a wide variety of musculoskeletal impairments and has a special interest in treating endurance athletes and lower extremity injuries.
Dave, his wife and their son moved to Ft Collins from Minneapolis in the summer of 2018. Dave is a long time runner and he’s a die-hard track and field fan. In his free time he enjoys running, hiking, reading, music and spending time with his family.
Dave joined Advanced Spine Physical Therapy in 2020.
