DeeAnn Vink, PT
DeeAnn Vink was a member of the first physical therapy graduating class at the University of Nebraska, receiving her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 1972.
DeeAnn worked at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins for 20 years serving as Director of Physical Therapy for 11 years where she supervised a staff of 35 Therapists.
From 1992 until 1998 DeeAnn worked in a variety of long term care and home care settings. She treated many conditions including balance disorders, joint replacements, pain and general deconditioning.
Since 1998, she has worked in several outpatient clinics. DeeAnn has specialized in soft tissue mobilization techniques including Pain Reflex Release Techniques (PRRT), Cranio Sacral, Myofascial Mobilization, Muscle Activation (MAT) and Muscle Energy Techniques, achieving excellent outcomes for diagnoses such as Fibromyalgia, Polymyositis and Complex (Chronic) Pain Syndrome.
DeeAnn serves as professional advisor to the Northern Colorado Post Polio support group and is consultant to Canyon Concert Ballet Company.
DeeAnn’s special interests include post-polio syndrome, vestibular/balance dysfunctions, performing arts injuries and rehabilitation and complex pain syndromes. She enjoys helping her patients to solve the mystery of their pain or injury and find a strategy to reach their goals.
DeeAnn joined Advanced Spine Physical Therapy in 2008.
