Scott is originally from suburban Chicago. He attended Colorado State University for 1 year studying engineering. He spent 4 years in the United states Air Force and while stationed in Germany he played club rugby on the only Air Force team in Europe including a tournament in Berlin before the wall came down.
He graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois in Chicago in 1995. He has spent the majority of his 24 years of PT practice in outpatient orthopedics with a particular interest in working with individuals with specific or nonspecific spine diagnoses. He became certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) in 2000.
Scott educates his patients on their condition and partners with them to help them maximize their results when outside of PT.
He has training in various manual therapy techniques including manipulation and uses them to
optimize his patient’s recovery and outcome.
When away from work Scott enjoys endurance cycling, hiking, snowshoeing, canoeing, gardening, and brewing beer.
He lives with his wife, daughter, and his dog Sammy who also loves to be outside.
